🇺🇸 Mentor of the Month: James Williams

This April, we are proud to honor James Williams as Operation 300’s Mentor of the Month. James first stepped in as a mentor during our very first Fallen LEO Kids Camp in September 2025, and since then, his commitment to serving Gold Star, White Star, and Fallen LEO families has been unwavering.

James serves as a Deputy Sheriff with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, where he has spent over two decades serving and protecting his community. After beginning his law enforcement career in 2004, James joined PBSO in 2016 and has proudly served in the Motor Unit since 2020. At home, James is supported by his wife Shenick, alongside their blended family, including Shenick’s daughter Briana and James’ children, Ricci Briana and James Jr. Family, service, and leadership are deeply woven into every part of his life.

James was introduced to Operation 300 through PBSO leadership when the first LEO camp was launched—and he immediately answered the call.

🗣 “I believe it is extremely important to serve with OP300 because of the ultimate sacrifices made by these campers’ parents. It is our duty as a community, as a village, to help raise these children into productive members of society. We truly are our brother’s keeper.”

For James, mentoring is about more than just one weekend.
🗣 “Serving with OP300 keeps things in perspective. It reminds us how blessed we are when interacting with these campers who have lost so much, yet can still smile and enjoy life. Being able to mentor, provide guidance, and simply be present is incredibly rewarding.”

James’ servant heart, leadership, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our campers and their families. His presence reminds these children that they are supported, valued, and never alone.

James, thank you for stepping up, leading well, and faithfully serving the families of our fallen heroes. We are incredibly grateful for men like you who continue to show up and make a difference through Operation 300. 🇺🇸
