Gelli print workshop this afternoon. Applied printmaking inks to a plate and added textures and stencils. Lots of different approaches. Tomorrow we’ll make collages!

After nipping more pieces and fiddling with placement, I arrived at this design for the mosaic mirror project using china tea cups and saucers. There will be smaller white tiles between the larger ones with color, and eventually grouted to pull it all together. I prepared the MDF board by sealing both sides, painting the back, and attaching the hanging hardware. Now onto the gluing stage! ☕️
