Thanksgiving processing is a wrap! 10 birds, all heritage breed, done this year and boy, it was harder than it sounds! Tougher skin = hand-plucking for us and hand-plucking is for the birds! 🫠

THIS Saturday is our last available processing date for August and we will have VERY limited availability in September as I (Sara) will be beginning maternity leave (due October 1st) soon. We still have room for up to 20 more birds so contact us today to get your birds scheduled for this Saturday!

Today's commission. 5 whole Red Rangers packaged and ready to go. I love the way these sealed up! Excited to upgrade (to one that can handle wider birds) our vacuum sealer eventually but glad these worked out today.

Making pasta sauce, apple pie, peach pie and canning up some stock today then a busy day processing birds tomorrow. Then making a bunch of zucchini bread loaves for the Courtland Farmers Market this week.
