Our Story
Serving Hillsborough and Polk counties, USF Bay Area Early Steps is part of Florida's early intervention system that offers services to eligible infants and toddlers (birth to thirty-six months) with significant delays or a condition likely to result in a developmental delay. We are funded through Part C of the IDEA act and all our services are at no charge to the family. We are a unique program due to the fact that our services are centered in the child’s natural environment and our goal is to teach the parent or caregiver to identify natural learning opportunities throughout the day.
