I'm not gonna lie, I felt like Nicole just refused to face her feelings and kinda did a lil mind game thing with Hawke there for a while. Yes, I know she felt devoted to Patrick but it just felt wrong.
I loved Hawke immediately with his charm and his sarcasm and simultaneously hated Patrick immediately. He felt fake af from the very beginning. The forced proximity made the story even better. An ex-convict is suddenly your roommate AND he's hot? Hawke is a misunderstood MMC with a soft heart and the fact Joe Arden narrated him made it that much more delicious.
