Lifelong Pilgrim

The last few days. Im starting to realize my camino is quickly coming to an end. More thoughts on that to come.

Passed by another famous camino landmark yesterday, the fuente del vino. Yes, thats a fountain of wine. Its a tradition going back centuries stemming from monks who established a field "hospital" for pilgrims passing through. They would greet weary pilgrims with a glass of wine. They continue that tradition today with the wine fountain. It stands today as a show of support and solidarity for pilgrims on the way.
