Heavenly Father, teach me to fast from desiring what able-bodied people can do, to curb my unhealthy food desires and to obtain closer union with You. Help me Lord, during this Lenten season to cling to You alone and grow in purity and charity. Create in me a clean heart, oh Lord! Found myself reading this over and over and over again, letting it sink in. Forgiveness is a CONSTANT attitude. Hmm... important concept to adopt… not just for those that hurt us, but for our own personal well-being, eventually affecting our families and all of society. Thank you, Martin Luther King Jr. When put into action, we are all blessed by your teachings.
