Finding out if you have a heavy flow can also be difficult to determine as everyone has a different idea of what “heavy” means to them!

Some key signs that you are bleeding too much are..
•changing pads/tampons in the middle of the night
•having periods over 7 days
•bleeding through products every hour for several hours in a row
•having blood clots the size of a quarter or larger
•feeling tired, lack of energy, shortness of breath

If you are experiencing any of these signs, it’s important to talk to your healthcare provider!

Schedule today. Link in bio! We are open Monday-Friday 10am-6pm

Omega-3s- fats that are high in omega-3s can help your body produce s*x hormones!

Protein- Protein being made up of amino acids are the building blocks of many of our hormones. Adequate protein intake is essential for the production of estrogen, progesterone and testosterone

High-Fiber Carbs- including wholegrain slow release carbs will help get that well needed fiber and b-vitamins which support hormone balance!

Zinc- zinc is not only great for healthy hormone production but also reduces inflammation. It is an adaptive for several key hormones (cortisol, estrogen and progesterone)

Magnesium- it’s a miracle mineral & most women aren’t getting enough in their diet. Magnesium supports balanced production of estrogen, progesterone and testosterone by helping the liver metabolize hormones and excrete harmful estrogen metabolites.

Cruciferous Vegetables- when cut, chewed or cooked, these veggies will produce indole-3-carbinol. Indole-3-carbinol promotes liver function which is important for hormone balance and detox.
