🔥 Sunday Night Worship Recap 🔥

Tonight was POWERFUL!

We're only on Chapter 2 of "Under Cover"
by John Bevere, but the conversations have been deep, honest, and eye-opening.

One thing that stood out was this:

Authority was never designed to control you. God designed authority to bring direction, provision, and protection.

Many people struggle with authority because they have been wounded by authority. When we've been hurt, disappointed, manipulated, or overlooked, it becomes difficult to trust, follow, and submit.

One of the most powerful lessons from Chapter 2 was that even when we believe we're doing what God called us to do, pride and rebellion can still be hiding in our hearts.

God showed us that submission is more than showing up to church. Submission includes receiving correction, listening, serving, being teachable, and allowing godly leadership to help guide us.

Many people want to come alongside authority, but not be under authority. Yet before God places us in authority, He often takes us on a journey of learning how to submit to authority.

This book is helping us see what authority is and what it isn't. It's exposing religious mindsets, pride, offense, and rebellion while bringing healing through understanding.

And one thing I know for sure: when God raises you up, you won't have to force it. He will establish it both in the spirit and in the natural.

We're only on Chapter 2, and I can already see why God told me it was time to read this book.
