Time to say good-bye. After 16 years of milking goats, twice a day, every day, I have decided to retire. I am happy to report that all of my milking does will be going to Stepladder Creamery in Cambria. I know they will have a wonderful home there and will continue to produce excellent milk for Stepladder's delicious artisinal farmstead cheese. I will be selling all of the equipment and supplies from the dairy and creamery, if anyone is interested. I cannot thank all of you enough for making a dream turn into a reality. It never would have happened without you. From a backyard hobby to a licensed creamery, dairy and award winning cheese to cheesemaking classes- it has been an amazing journey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

New Beginnings - The 2016 kidding season is underway, and with new life comes change. I am sad to report I will no longer be making cheese. State increases in regulations and fees have made it impossible for me to stay in business and continue making cheese in the same manner as I have for the past seven years. However, I am very happy to report that Central Coast Creamery will be purchasing our milk and turning it into a small batch artisinal cheese. Reggie Jones is an amazing cheesemaker and I know he will be turning out some magnificent cheese from Alcea Rosea Farm goat milk. I will keep you all posted. Thank you all for your support, love and kindness over the past years. I never could have done this without you!!!
