The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) named my photo "Smooth Blue Asters and Northern Red Oak" the category runner-up for Certified Wildlife Habitat Landscapes in the 2024 Garden for Wildlife® Photo Contest.

As a newbie photographer, I'm honored—and more than a little surprised!—to be among the winners. The contest saw over 5,000 entries, many submitted by top professionals.
