🚨 Important Update Regarding Verification Emails & Text Messages

Over the past 24 hours, some customers may have received unexpected emails or text messages asking them to verify purchases that they did not recognize. We wanted to provide an update on what happened.

After investigating the issue with our fraud prevention partner, NoFraud (Wyllo), it appears a software issue occurred during a routine plugin update on our website. As a result, older orders in our system were mistakenly processed as if they were new orders, causing NoFraud/Wyllo to send verification requests for purchases that were actually made months or even years ago.

While this understandably caused confusion, we want to be very clear about one thing:

There was NO data breach.

✅ No customer accounts were compromised.

✅ No payment information was exposed.

✅ No credit cards or payment methods were accessed or charged.

✅ No hackers or malicious activity were involved.

This was not a security incident. It was a software issue that caused previously completed orders to be mistakenly reprocessed by our fraud screening system.

The issue has been contained, and we are working directly with the NoFraud/Wyllo engineering team to determine the exact root cause and ensure it cannot happen again.

We also want to reassure everyone that protecting your information remains one of our highest priorities. Sensitive customer information—including payment data—is securely encrypted and handled using industry-standard security practices.
