She’s 13!!!!

I’m full on soccer mom here. I cannot tell you how many pictures I’ve taken this far….a lot. But I love watching my girl play the sport she loves. Emma Jo you are amazing at all the things.

Let’s start this adventure of RandiLand with a post to tell you a bit about myself. Growing up I would get in trouble for drawing on my bedroom walls. Through high school I took on the role of jock and kept my art pretty much for myself and my mom of course. However, once I decided on a college there was no question, art was it. I graduated from Pittsburg State University with a bachelors degree in fine art, I majored in Commercial art and minored in graphic design. Working in mixed media is favorite medium. Meaning I have been known to use old ironing boards as canvas and glued paper flowers on it. More pics to come. You will be seeing a variety of my art here. I’ve always been very interested in functional art so venturing out from wall art to jewelry seemed natural. Earrings are easy to change out and that is where this season of my art life has taken me. But don’t worry there is a giant canvas in my room right now waiting to be finished that already has paint on it.
