I found a way that I can work on Chrome pieces! Not the same technique as the aluminum, but it works. I put a monogram on a pair of chrome axle covers for a V-rod, and I did a lot of lettering on a chrome gas cap for a Honda Shadow. Both customers were very pleased with the results!

Currently engraving the Mayan calendar on a derby cover. Insanely detailed. 12 hours in, hopefully only about 8 more to go :^) Pics when done.
