Oviatts has these in stock. I would hate the cleaning, but dirt or mud drags would be kinda fun. I'd be more for sand drag racing. These would still be amazing. And being a 3.0/2.2 sct size they'd fit any slash or losi 22s, maybe arrma vorteks 2wd? It could be fun. Always thinking about new ideas.

A little humor, no rc news this week. Really slow week. Tomorrow is Thursday, so associated will release some new rc10. It's been a year now? Every week, some new variation? Wow! A little rumor says that within a week Vanquish will release two new 2.2 Battleborn wheel designs.

I didn't take any pictures of the stand finished, trust me its much more square now.😅. I'll post those Thursday. For our grand opening weekend, Saturday hours will be 10am to 5pm. Sunday will be 10am to 3pm (afternoon game Sunday). I will take a poll asking what day mid week people would prefer. I don't think Friday's will work. I think there are fireworks some Friday's. I also think after a long work week Friday just isn't right. I think a true mid week break? Wednesday afternoon? We'll see what people want. I will be creating an event once I have the pictures of the completed setup. Onwards and upwards ✨️

Saturday is opening day. I will try to run every weekend with one afternoon/evening during the week. Some of our hours will vary. I have to coordinate around baseball games. Most games are night games, so those won't affect much, but if it's a rare afternoon game we will be closed. I always post mid week to confirm that week's schedule. Rules and waiver sheets will be on sight. Jumps are coming for those who'd rather bash than race. A few might be up by Saturday. It's our first day, so we can only hope everything goes smoothly. We know we need shade and a way to water the track. We hope to have most everything by the 2nd week of July. This is our teething summer. Let's have fun and see what we can turn this track into.

Wow! Just looking at analytics. We've had 10k views this past week. Thats up 175% over the previous week. Almost 30k this month. That's all you! Way to go! That is why we had such a successful weekend. We are 95% done with the stand. I will work on adding electricity, fixing the arm rails and doing a few minor things this week. Plans are to open next weekend. I will type up rules and membership waivers for track use. Pricing is going to start at the low end. Rent is more here, but I hope volume will overcome a price increase. If cost runs away, I will re-evaluate prices then. Please remember, we are not a business. We are a club. The fees charged go directly into maintaining and upgrading the track. I do not do this to make money. I do this to keep me busy and help me get healthier. That said Pricing is $20 per person per day. Kids 13 and under are $10 per kid per day. Seniors and veterans $15 per visit. I'm hoping to keep Pricing affordable. I will do a reevaluation the first of July. Adding a timing system and having real races will increase prices for races. Probably $20 first car, and $10 ea additional car. I am going to try to have transponders on hand for $5 a race, or sell for $30 ea. Shooting for a July timeline for getting a trackmate system. I thought people just wanted to practice/play, but it sounds like people want a little competition. I know we were using a trackmate infrared system. If you know who's that was, can you find out if they want to sell it? Thank you all. I do this because people ask for it. So they say build it, they will come. It is built. I will have pics mid week once the electricity is hooked up and the hand rails and stand are 100% complete. We have more in the pipeline. We haven't even opened and plans are in place to make it better and bigger already. If you are familiar with how I ran the mini crawler course, you know I am always upgrading and adding to the track. The mini course will be back. I'm trying to get as much done as I can. I may need to hire a teen? If you want very little money, and love rc and the outdoors, DM me.

June 20 airshow coming up, next week

What a busy day. Over 5k steps in. Awesome! We are almost done. Sunday I will add the work table to the stand. It will help stabilize the stand. A little cement, and hand rails. Sunday I will be there from noon to 6pm? Depends on how many people come out. Thank you to Cam, you are above and beyond 🙏. He doesn't use social media, so I write this not for him, but for you. If you're looking for a club where you can have fun and meet new people? Our club is full of just top notch people. Ryan and Javen have really stepped up too. I appreciate everyone 💓. It was nice to meet a few new people. There was a nice family that came by. They helped pick up rocks. They just caught the bug. I think RC is more addicting than (elicit drug here), and I think they found out.🤔 🤣😂 plus, as everyone knows, we are family fun based. So it's always awesome to see parents and kids sharing this sport. Onwards and upwards ✨️. We will get there. Let's go Traverse city!

I'm there. It's going to be humid. I put a bright pink sign at the end of the field. Hopefully it doesn't blow away. Don't mind the no parking signs. That's for something the ballpark is doing later.

With the rain this morning, I'm going to postpone everything for a couple of hours. I'm going to set 1pm just to make sure everything dries up. This is a free weekend. Even though it is a fundraiser weekend, there are other ways to help other than money. We need help with picking up rocks and shaping corners. If everyone who comes just gives 5 mins, that could easily turn into an hour of work getting done. We need to find the big rocks. We don't want someone to have a bad day after hitting a big rock (ask me how I know). That's why we have to do a track walk every day we run. Thank you, I hope to see some new faces.
