The following dogs are currently at Trenton Animal Shelter and need rescues to pull them:

Easter is a very strong girl who LOVES her toys and knows how to sit (for a treat of course). She is reactive to other dogs and needs to go to a rescue with an experienced foster/rescue who knows how to work with dog aggression. She should also not be placed with kids or older adults as her strong jumps could easily knock them over.

Quinn is a senior pup but you would never guess it by her energy level! She loves to whip her toys and zoom around the room. Quinn does not get along with other dogs and therefore requires a confident, experienced foster/rescue who can provide consisted guidance and structure.

Percy is a senior boy who cares more about getting good scratches than he does about treats or toys. He has some skin and ear issues and may be going blind and as a result he needs a foster/rescue who will be able to help him decompress and heal.

Gi Joe is a handsome boy who loves attention and loves his toys. He loves them so much that he will often guard them and needs an experienced foster/rescue who understands resource guarding. He also needs to be an only dog.

If you a someone who is willing to adopt or foster one of these pups but are not currently working with a rescue please send us a message and we will help you connect with a rescue that is able to pull.

Welcome back our buddy Blaze!

Blaze has been thriving with his foster family over the past few months and is making incredible progress every day. Thanks to the dedication of his foster parents and ongoing training, he’s learning how to channel his energy and become the best version of himself.

Blaze is a high-energy, affectionate boy who loves to stay active and be part of the action. Like many energetic dogs, he can become overstimulated at times, so he will benefit from continued structure, consistency, and basic training.

While Blaze has shown that he can be dog-friendly, he would do best with an experienced adopter who understands his needs. Ideally, he is looking for a home without small children and would prefer to be the only dog so he can continue to thrive with individualized attention.

Blaze is full of love, potential, and personality. With the right adopter who is committed to continuing his training, he will make an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion. ❤️🐶

Great news to start off this week!! Oreo was originally from the Trenton Animal Shelter and it took him a long, long, long time to find his furever, but we’re so grateful that he did!

TRANSPORT FOUND, thanks to Rosie Casey

We are looking for a volunteer to transport Sasha from Trenton, NJ 8-9 AM to Emancipet (inside PetSmart) at 11000 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19116. The drive is approximately 25 minutes each way.
Pick up would be 5 PM

Sasha has an adoption meet scheduled for next week, and we want to make sure she is spayed before her adoption. Her brother, Asher, has already been neutered, so now it’s Sasha’s turn!
