Happy Easter from our family to yours!!!

I just wanted to offer everyone a few irrigation tips due to the extreme heat and lack of rain we’ve had the past few weeks...

1. Please take the time in the evening or early morning to turn on all your sprinkler zones and get a visual check to make sure ALL the sprinklers are popping up and spraying to cover the grass with no areas being missed. Some things to look for are the grass covering the heads not allowing them to pop up, broken sprinkler heads, clogged tips, and rotor heads that aren’t rotating properly.
2. Set your sprinkler timers for 30 min per zone for pop up heads and 60 min per zone for rotor heads that cover larger areas of your lawn. Check our website for a link to the allowed watering days for your area! The best time to water is between the times of 4a - 7am.
3. Your planter beds that have the drip lines are normally set for 60 min because they only put out about a gallon of water per hour.

We always give this advice to all of our customers but wanted to share this with everyone as I know a lot of lawns out there are dry and struggling due to lack of water. With Mother Nature not helping us at this time it’s so important to make sure you are watering! Even with the help of our irrigation system know that it’s not enough without the rain but at least it’s better than nothing.
