Caturday Morning Vibes: Feed your Community Cats Early Today.

While today is a celebratory day for some, for our cats it’s a day of terror. Cats don’t like loud noises. Cats don’t understand that those bright things won’t hurt them.

More pets go missing on July 4th than any other day of the year. Please make a plan, run your air conditioners or white noise, have the TV on. Secure all doors and windows.

For those of you who care for colonies, feed extra early in the day so they can find a safe place to hunker down during the loudest times of the afternoon and evening.

And please drive slowly. Wildlife don’t like fireworks either, they may be disoriented and more likely to run in the road.
