Designing well in the Sonoran Desert takes knowledge, craft, and community. APLD Arizona exists to build all three.

🌵 Events- Dinners, tours, mixers, and Dinner & Learns where real conversations happen. We also open our events to allied design professionals because we believe the best work happens when disciplines connect.
📐 Education - CEU opportunities and industry insight grounded in what it actually means to design for this climate and this ecosystem.
🤝 Community - A professional home for landscape designers, with deep roots in the broader Arizona design world.
🌟 Recognition - A platform for Arizona landscape designers and their work to be seen, celebrated, and taken seriously.

The Sonoran Desert is one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. It has its own palette, its own rhythm, its own rules.

Designing here isn’t like designing anywhere else, and the landscape designers who do it well know that the land is always part of the conversation.

APLD Arizona is the state chapter of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers. We exist to connect, support, and elevate the landscape design profession in Arizona. We are rooted in this ecosystem, and proud of the community we’re building around it.
