Okay, dad joke aside, I'm really with how this upgrade turned out. The split loom worked well given the harness was already on the engine, and the cloth tape is so much better than electrical tape, or that other garbage that "only sticks to itself" or nothing at all...

With the engine wiring looking neat and tidy, I just need the parts I ordered from to arrive to redo the throttle mount, and fix up the catch can with a new bracket as well.
