Since 1994, when the FOMC started announcing its interest rate policy decisions on the day of the meeting, there have been eight rate cuts that occurred within two weeks of the S&P 500 hitting a 52-week high. All eight times, the S&P 500 ended up higher one year later, with a median gain of 14.5%!
