Congrats to PK, Tilly, and Bea for making the 2026 OkMEA ensemble "The Collective"! This new group was formed two years ago to highlight the work being done by music students in Oklahoma in the world of "modern music" or "modern band". This group gets together and COMPOSES all new songs for this performance and workshop.

That being said, the weather had different plans for all of the groups this year. After all OkMEA performances were canceled due to the impending Snowmageddon, "The Collective" was small enough to pivot and put together a makeshift Livestream. And, with the help from Mr. Knight, Mr. Clark, and Mr. Redmond we were able to record the entire thing with multitrack audio!

In a shortened 36 hour timeframe, these amazing student musicians wrote, rehearsed, and arranged 8 ORIGINAL songs! Thankfully, we were able to capture this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them.

Those recordings should be available soon.
