Last week I had the opportunity to speak on a panel about apprenticeships and workforce development, and it really got me thinking 🤔.

As a small manufacturing company, we don’t have the luxury of hiring fully trained, skilled workers. There’s a shortage of skilled tradespeople 👨🏾‍🏭👷🏽‍♀️, and competing with larger companies for that same small pool just isn’t realistic 🤷🏽‍♀️.

So we had to shift our mindsetđź’ˇ.

We became resourceful.
We started building 🧱 our own.

That’s what apprenticeships are for.

At Generation FSH, we’re not just looking for experienced workers—we’re willing to take a chance on someone who wants an opportunity, train them from the ground up, and put them on a real career path in manufacturing.

This work means even more to us when it comes to creating access for minority and underrepresented communities—because a lot of people just haven’t been exposed to these opportunities.

If we don’t do it, who will?

We don’t fix the skilled labor shortage by competing for talent.
We fix it by building it 🧱
