Miss Tulsa State Fair and Miss Oil Capital is having a Mini Miss Tulsa State Fair and Mini Miss Oil Capital Sunday September 28 @ 6:00 after the Miss pageant. Pageant is open to anyone.

The winner of the first Be a STAR Scholarship is Ella Talley! Read her bio and you will understand why:

My name is Ella Talley, and I am an upcoming graduate from Norman North High School. When not preforming or dancing competitively, I spent most of my high school career leading Norman North’s annual philanthropy, SPUD Week, where I designated my time to raising money and planning years full of events to fundraise to support local families and organizations in need in Norman. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, volunteering, reading, traveling, and dancing. As I move on from high school, I plan to attend the University of Oklahoma, majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Anthropology Sciences. I also plan to rush in the fall and be a part of the Presidents Community Scholars Program, and most importantly plug into organizations to continue volunteering and working for my community that surrounds me.
