Join Wakaya's summer program! We're hosting a two-week-long series of daily excursions and adventures to help you connect with nature, get outdoors, and think about your health and well-being.

Apply by July 6thโ€”spots are filling fast, so sign up soon. Week one begins July 27th.

Applications for Wakaya's 2026 Winter and Spring Cohorts in Tulsa are now LIVE! To apply, either scan the QR Code or visit our website at https://wakayarisingup.org/

Wakaya: Rising Up for Native Health is a free six-week wellness and leadership program for Native youth. Over the course of the program, participating youth volunteer in community events, engage in group physical activity, engage in cultural arts and storytelling, visit sacred sites, and more!

The program is open to middle and high school students (12+) in the Tulsa area that identify as Indigenous. We invite applications from anyone interested regardless of gender, athleticism, cultural connection, etc. Complete our short application today to join a cohort of motivated Native youth determined to be good ancestors and community members!

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Higher Education Department would like to remind Higher Education students of the Fall 2026 deadlines:

The deadline for NEW students to apply is June 1
Continuing/Returning undergraduate and post-graduate students must apply by August 31
Supporting documents must be submitted by September 30

Additional Information:
1. New and continuing students must apply on the Muscogee Nation Camphouse Portal.
2. Students will need to create a portal account if they do not already have one.
3. For assistance with creating a Camphouse Portal account, applying in Camphouse, uploading documents, or any other technical issues, students should contact the Camphouse Support Team at 918.549.2760 Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
