SEG President Elect Rocco (“Rocky”) Detomo has more than 40 years of experience in the energy industry, working with Shell and as an independent consultant, and has held senior positions across seismic acquisition, interpretation, exploration, development, and research worldwide. He has served as member and chair of numerous SEG committees such as the SEG Board of Directors, the SEG Advanced Modeling Corp (SEAM), and the SEG Foundation Board. He is an air force veteran.
