Never Apologize.
When one of your ploys or life games does not work, learn from the experience and move on, even if it means getting bounced from the restaurant or thrown off of a plane or being fired from your job. Do not apologize unnecessarily. Apologies are an inherent sign of weakness, as soon as you apologize, you put yourself one down to the person whom you have been trying to influence. granted, in a few instances apologies are worthwhile. When the traffic cop pull you over, if you can get out of your car and go over to his window with a fawning apology before he gets to you, he will more likely be mollified then if you sit in thrown like a king in your car in an attitude holding audience. In general business practices, however, it does not pay to apologize to the opposition, even if the opposition is your own boss.
