Monday Patriot Milestones! 🎓

Congratulations to UT Tyler School of Performing Arts alumnus Jordan Sanders (BM '17) on his new position with the Hillsboro ISD Golden Eagle Band!

Since graduating from UT Tyler in 2017, Jordan has worked as a music educator across East Texas. From 2019–2026, he served as a band director at Palestine ISD before accepting his new position with Hillsboro ISD.

We are excited to see Jordan begin this next chapter in his career and look forward to following his continued success in music education. Congratulations, Jordan, on this career milestone!

Monday Patriot Milestones! 🎓

Congratulations to UT Tyler School of Performing Arts alumnus Felipe Hernandez (BM '18) on his appointment as Head Band Director at Hudson ISD!

Since graduating from UT Tyler in 2018, Felipe has built a successful career in music education. From 2021–2026, he served as a band director at Center ISD, helping guide and inspire student musicians while contributing to the continued success of the program.

A 2014 graduate of Hudson High School, Felipe now returns to his alma mater as Head Band Director, bringing his experience, leadership, and passion for music education back to the community that helped shape his own musical journey.

We are proud to see Felipe leading the next generation of student musicians and making a lasting impact through music education. Congratulations, Felipe, on this exciting career milestone!
