Lindy's Little Women 🥰
4 weeks old! *Corrected age 3 weeks old*😘
Growing, growing! They are all toddling around great now. I moved them into my Puppy Nursery into a bigger puppy pen where they are now learning to use the potty box. Mama Lindy is still nursing them full time. Soon I will start introducing puppy mush. Yummy! 😋
They have started our 'Early Puppy Socialization' protocols now, including daily sound desensitization cd.
Doing great. Very pleased. ☺️

It's another typical day in the Hall house.
Children are playing, dogs are relaxing. It ebbs and flows just as things always do.
I'm busy working on Hallmark stuff, foster nicu stuff at my computer. Preparing the next ideas for a new post. Lots of thoughts running through my head as usual.
In a quick moment I see movement and a distinct "thud" sound. I look up from my work and see a life lesson playing out before my eyes.
The big couch is toppled over backwards, and I see two feet sticking perfectly up over the top of the seat. Silence. Then laughter. We both start laughing that belly roll laugh that can cramp your tummy, yeah...you know the one!
Up pops my daughter from the couch. She stands up and without hesitation simply says "Hmmm, I can now see why you always tell me not to jump into the couch when I sit down."
I've told her a hundred times not to jump into the furniture like that. It can damage the furniture, and just like she found out today, topple it over with her in it! Like most active children, she just wasn't hearing me.
It wasn't a dangerous issue, more an annoying one, but the message from mom was not being received nor applied. Not consistently at least.
Today God let life experience teach her the lesson she just wasn't learning from her parent. He works like that you know. Not just in foolish childhood antics, but with us adults too.
We go through life living and doing. He tries to call something we're doing to our attention, to teach us, to correct us...before it harms us or someone else. We are often just like children, just like my daughter. We listen, but we don't actually hear or apply the lesson he wants us to learn.
So, he let's us just topple over. We keep jumping in, and finally we go over, we fall, we stumble. We end up learning the lesson crystal clear. We could have just done what the Lord wanted from the start, but our foolishness pushed us to need to actually experience that learning moment the hard way.
Today the lesson was finally heard. It's fortunate this lesson could be laughed through while wisdom was captured. Some lessons are understood only through hard tears of sorrow. How much easier our lives would be had we just listened and heard the lesson, the ultimate wisdom the first time we were shown.
We make life so much harder, and heartbreaking than it has to be sometimes. Let's all remember to listen and hear what God is trying to teach us, so we don't topple the couch over in our lives too.
Love,
Kellina 🥰
