Community BOHIO

It’s a beautiful day in Zone 7B so I decided to finally take care of my juniper bush… I think it loves me as much as I’ve loved it. Don’t see the hearts that I see? Sending everyone lots of (Juniper) love 💕

With a heavy heart, we mourn the loss of our relative… yet we find peace in knowing that they are now at peace. In Darshan’s honor we, (Community BOHIO) will be creating a medicine garden in Darshan’s name as well as donating seeds to those who would like to create a medicine garden to honor Darshan’s work and impact in the seed community. We will also be establishing the Dr. Darshan Elena Campos “Somos Semillas Antillanas” scholarship to aid aspiring seed savers, community gardeners and/or aspiring agricultural students and activists in continuing or beginning their journey. Darshan knew and understood the power of community and giving space, love and appreciation to those looking to make change… this will be our contribution to keep that legacy going strong.
