The Things Lab Miami

Join The Things Lab and Miami Time Swap at The Things Lab at Artisans Playhouse in Hialeah on SUNDAY, July 21, 2-5pm for our collaborative Things Swap!

Share and connect with others while letting go of those things you have been holding onto. Discover treasures for your own use and keep them out of a landfill.

Bring no more than 10 gently used items (no clothes/ no books) - things that are clean, functional, and ready for a new home! You can also come without things to swap and make a Pay What You Value tax deductible donation to The Things Lab for the “Things Swap” fund for things you take home.

Be kind, respect everyone’s finds, and enjoy the good vibes!

Any leftover items will be donated to The Things Lab. You are also welcome to take your unclaimed donations home with you. That way, nothing goes to waste!

While at Artisan’s Playhouse:
- BRING your own art projects to work on
- BUY some things and/or supplies (you name the price) at The Things Lab
- ORDER something from the Art à la Carte menu at Artisan’s Playhouse
- RENT a sewing machine at Artisan’s Playhouse
- GET a coffee or matcha at Artesana Café

Need a mannequin? Yarn scraps? Want to finish a project KREL started? Want that painting? Looking for a printer? A lightbox? Small refrigerator? Muffler!?!

Come by Saturday, June 27, 6-10pm and say “see you later” to one of Miami’s most beloved artists/designers Karelle Levy and pick up a few of her things! Pay What You Value it to be worth within your budget!

A portion of the funds will be donated to families of victims of the earthquakes in Venezuela 🇻🇪🙏🏽

What materials will you get at at ? We open Saturdays 12-6pm and Tuesdays 6-11pm for MAKE & PLAY. Come by, pick out your materials and settle in with a tasty matcha or coffee from to work on your own project. Can’t stay, no problem! Stop in and pick your favorite things, pay what you value them to be worth within your budget and go about your day or night.

You can also access the reuse center whenever there is a class or workshop taking place at as well as when you visit (check their schedules).
