Blacklighting for Arthropods in the Amazon is magic - but it's also so much more! Target 1 of the Global Biodiversity Framework calls for effective conservation and management of ecosystems. At the Morpho Institute, we turn the Amazon into a living classroom - equipping educators to bring ecosystem literacy to their students and inspire stewardship from the ground up. That begins with AWE-filled experiences like blacklighting in the jungle! Learn more about our field programs at www.morphoinstitute.org #100%human

Join us on Saturday October 5th at Pyramid Hill! Learn about the amazing world of arthropods and how they've impacted human art and culture. We'll wrap with a great STEAM art project with artist Jo Whaley!

The Bug Chicks have opened up a few more spots in their workshop this weekend so more people can join in on the fun!
Learn about the incredible world of arthropods (bugs!) and how they have inspired human expression! We will explore the biology and behavior of these often-misunderstood animals and explore how these animals have influenced art and design. You'll get to meet a live arthropod zoo and even touch, pet, or hold some of our arthropod ambassadors. Then, create your own bug-inspired artwork with the help of artist Jo Whaley
Workshop is free, but registration is required so we know how many people to expect 😊

Thanks WOW Day Camp for having us work with all your Scouts last week! It was an awesome two days in the PNW - tons of science, exploration, night hikes and camaraderie. And did we mention bugs?
