Sometimes, we develop patterns for our protection, but as we evolve and grow, some may not serve our new version. It’s up to us to be aware of the old patterns, or they will keep us stuck.

I used to be a big “doer” and felt good when achieving- anything. I learned a model of feeling good by doing… something nice for someone, helping someone to feel better, achieving degrees, certifications, licenses, etc. until I learned that I was looking outside to feel good inside. I’m still a person who does nice things for others and helps others, only now I include myself❤️. I learned that my doing is only as effective as the Being doing the doing! Spending time just being, breathing, journaling, working on your physical and mental health is not selfish if wasted time. It’s where all your power is to do at a higher and more intentional level✨.
