“Have you had a chance to try the pico?”

Of course she hadn’t… but I was fixin’ to change her life. 😏

She told me she loves pico, and I told her I was about to ruin all other pico de gallo for her. One bite later? Mission accomplished.

The daughters were hesitant. They didn’t want to try it… but they definitely wanted to try it. Then came the big question:

“What is bean dip?”

Well, now you’ve gotta try that too.

A few samples later, Mom looked at the girls and asked, “Do you want one of each?”

Fresh pico de gallo, handcrafted guacamole, bean dip, and the Piña Pico everyone keeps chasing.

She first found me at the St. Augustine Farmers Market at the Classic Car Museum. Then I popped up on her Facebook feed, and her daughter kept saying, “Mom, we need Pico Princess.”

So when I told her I’d be at the Ponte Vedra Friday Market, she made the trip to come find me.

The result? 2 Pico. 2 Guac. 2 Bean Dip. Two full trifectas headed home.

This is why I love what I do. One taste turns into repeat customers, and sometimes the biggest fans are the kids reminding their parents it’s time for a refill.
