We aren't just instructed to confess our sins to God. Christianity is a team sport. We are to be invested in each others' lives. Praying for one another is a way that we do that, as is confessing our sins to each other. It isn't easy or for the faint of heart, but we are always best served by doing what the Lord says.

We can control what we focus on. As Martin Luther said, "You cannot keep birds from flying over your head, but you can keep them from building a nest in your hair." Let's make sure we are focused on the right things.
