A life-saving union 💍

As Dani Wilder, AB ’21, MD ’26, and Matt Bitner-Glindzicz, BS ’21, MS ’22, celebrated their wedding with fellow WashU alumni this spring at the St. Louis Art Museum, word was spreading in public health communities about another one of their joint ventures.

The couple cofounded nCase Technologies in 2024 to help solve a persistent problem in the opioid crisis. Their St. Louis-based startup creates cases that securely and discreetly hold naloxone nasal spray, the life-saving drug that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Now anyone can easily carry naloxone with them, and the tech has already saved dozens of lives.

Hours and hours of building and testing a formula-style race car from scratch paid off this spring for Wash U Racing. 🏎️

After running out of gas just short of the finish line last year, the team achieved its highest showing in club history in May at the annual Formula SAE competition at Michigan International Speedway.
