Words of a friend of mine, Aimee Jackson:
My father was a man who loved with all he had. Some people thought it was naive of him to do so. Reflecting on it and experiencing life myself, that wasn't it. The amount of courage and strength that he had astounds me. To persevere through life's many difficulties and challenges. To suffer through so many losses, of people he held dear and loved so deeply. And to come out on the other side still full of hope and love. Still open to it, still embracing life. I hope to be half as courageous as he was, and just as loving and compassionate. Nobody's perfect, but it's the imperfections that we learn to embrace and love. Being mindful that everyone is battling their own insecurities. And the best thing we can do is to allow grace to them and especially ourselves. It is key to staying grounded and peaceful. You can't shut your heart off simply because you've been hurt, you'll go blind to what's potentially right in front of you. Love truly is what makes the world go round, and yes we always do need more if it. More love and acceptance, I hope you all have a beautiful day! 🥰❤️🌈🙏🏻
