Behind every successful adoption is a team, and our foster families are some of its most important members.

The information our fosters provide helps us match animals with the right families. Fostering is space saving and life changing all at once.

Thank you to Tyler, his wife Lindsey, and every foster who has opened their home and their heart. 🏑

πŸ›Ÿ Rescue update: Nitro

This handsome boy came to us from a SC shelter after being found injured under a resident's porch. Animal control was able to get him safely to the shelter where they learned he'd been shot, severely fracturing his leg beyond repair.

Nitro came through his hind leg amputation like an absolute champ. He is already up and figuring out life on three legs! πŸ‘

Sadly, while at the vet, Nitro tested positive for heartworm disease. That means an additional $1,200 in treatment before he can be cleared for adoption.

This boy has already been through so much, and he is FIGHTING. We need to fight for him too. πŸ’ͺ

If you've already contributed to Nitro's care, thank you. We are incredibly grateful for the support that makes medical cases like his possible to take on. Every dollar has mattered.

If you'd like to help get him across the finish line, all donation links are in our bio or at finalvictoryrescue.com/donate

We appreciate you cheering him on and helping us help him. β€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉπŸΎ

256 days... and still waiting πŸ’”

Pinky is ready for her people!

This spunky, silly, and absolutely lovable hound mix who has been charming everyone she meets since she came to us from a local shelter in September. She attended adoption events, farmer's markets, and even spent some time on the beach! πŸ–οΈ

At around 7 years old, she brings all the personality and wisdom of a seasoned dog with every bit of the energy and zest for life of a much younger pup.

She has been fortunate enough to receive love, attention, and training in a foster home. Here is what they had to say: "She is the best companion. Fully housetrained, well mannered and a real velcro dog. She will follow you anywhere and never stray from your side. She is amazing!!"

When she's a solo dog, she has some separation anxiety. Her foster has observed that when Pinky visits with another dog, that anxiety melts away completely. She is simply a dog who loves company, and honestly, aren't those the best ones? πŸ’–

More about Pinky:
βœ… Housetrained
βœ… Smart, loyal, and loving
βœ… Thrives with other dogs
βœ… Great car rider
βœ… Loves walks + hikes
βœ… Rated a 10/10 snuggler by her foster family
βœ… Reduced adoption fee!

If you have a dog at home who could use a best friend, Pinky might just be the missing piece. 🧩
