This season of life has seemed to dissipate more quickly than the rest to us. Despite trying to cherish the days and moments, time is a thief and memories are all we are left with.

Since Christmas we gained a teenager, completed two basketball seasons, one in high school and the other in middle school. Additionally our oldest turned 16 and has officially gained driving independence! 🥳 Throw in full homeschool days and the weeks have turned to months quickly passing.

I read a quote on instagram the other day that said something along the lines of, the sad part of motherhood is raising a person you can’t live without, to be able to live without you. It’s all so bittersweet. Seeing their independence grow yet missing their dependence on you. ❤️
