Do people still do Throw Back Thursdays? I've never been on trend so I'm gonna do it anyways!
I'm working on updating my wedding portfolio, so I'm digging around in old photos and using the help of AI to remove difficult backgrounds and fix lighting. I know the use of AI can be seen as very negative, but I'm no photographer or editor (nor can I afford one). The location, lighting and other aspects of delivering a wedding cake at a venue (or in this case a rather stunning property in the SGV) are never ideal. Back when this cake was made, it was impossible for me to edit the photo this well. I usually just give up if the background and cake are super intricate like this and never share the photo, so its nice to see it in a more flattering light.
Valerie & Will were the first couple to trust me to make their wedding cake. They became long time customers afterwards too and I got to make some very fun things for them thru the years. 💗

Who knew the cake of a killer would be so sparkly ✨ This cake was really fun to make, but I think the apple is my fav part... it just looked so dang appley sitting in the bakery while it dried. The inside of the cake is Brown Sugar Spice cake and Milk Chocolate Toffee Buttercream. A very interesting combo tasted a bit like a Mexican hot chocolate to me.
