Last week Everett Community College hosted over 900 middle and high school students from around Snohomish County at our 20th Students of Color Career Conference. This conference brings together students from a diverse range of backgrounds to explore the possibilities for their future. Local professionals shared their experiences, ideas, and advice with students. It was an incredible day!

NW Plus Credit Union donated $10,000 for emergency housing for students. The donation will directly benefit 10 EvCC students facing housing insecurity, including five who live in housing on campus, with $1,000 each.

“This donation from NW Plus CU comes at a critical time,” said Kristen McConaha, Executive Director of College Advancement and the EvCC Foundation. “The number of requests from EvCC students for emergency funding for housing is at an all-time high.”
