Transforming a former two-story Sears into this interactive retail destination came with its share of challenges—from extensive structural modifications and airlifted rooftop units to navigating limited second-floor access. Thanks to the dedication of our VCC project team, trade partners, and the DICK'S Sporting Goods team, we delivered the project on time.

The finished space features an outdoor field, batting cages, a rock wall, and more, creating an exciting experience for athletes and shoppers alike.

VCC is fortunate to have several women on our team who have built successful careers as engineers, project engineers, and project managers.

Encouraging young women and girls to explore STEM subjects can open the door to opportunities in engineering and construction. One example is our own Senior Project Manager, Helen Mulino, who earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of New Orleans and now helps lead complex projects at VCC.
