The NAACP Eugene-Springfield July General Membership Meeting will be moving this month as we welcome representatives from HIV Alliance, SquareOne Villages, and Trillium Community Health Plan to discuss an exciting new housing cooperative initiative.
This meeting is an opportunity to learn more about the proposed housing cooperative, ask questions, and hear how this project could create new pathways to affordable, community-centered housing in Lane County.
Whether you're a current NAACP member, interested in housing issues, or simply want to stay informed about community initiatives, we invite you to attend and be part of the conversation.
Wednesday, July 29, 2026

Our freedom is interconnected. When some communities lose political voice, representation becomes less equitable for everyone. When it comes to voting rights, we lose power if we: accept voter suppression as normal, assume someone else will respond instead of us, believe our participation doesn’t matter, or treat attacks on other communities as someone else's problem. Our civil rights reclamation begins locally. But it has to connect to the fights happening around us.
