Hello weekend! Let’s start this Saturday with this beautiful transformation I did on my lovely client. She came in wanting to be a lot brighter all over for her engagement photos, so I baby light all of her hair using my with cool toned blonde lightener using only 10 vol with for that extra protection. I especially concentrated around her hairline giving her that awesome money piece, just Incase she wanted to wear her hair up for her photos.💛

Touch-up time! I always book my high maintenance blondes every 4-6 weeks for a bleach and tone to take care of their outgrowth. It is crucial for them to not go over 6 weeks to avoid possible damage and yellow bands. Sometimes people think it’s better to wait in between visits to “give the hair a break” but it’s one of the worst things you can do since the hair grows at different rates and further steps need to be taken to get all the new outgrowth to one even tone. Further steps means more time and money invested into your hair. I’m also a huge believer in using NO HEAT in these type of processes, chemical compounds change when heat is added to the lightener risking breakage and even chemical burns on to the scalp. I just let the lightener do it’s thing without rushing it. I used cream lightener with bond protector for 55 minutes on her scalp and then toned her all over with Natural.
