🚨 Unpopular opinion:
Not every child needs 40 hours of ABA.
Treatment recommendations should be based on medical necessity, not billable hours. Some children truly benefit from intensive services. Others make incredible progress with fewer hours.
As a BCBA-owned clinic, we’ll never recommend services just because insurance will pay for them. We recommend what the child and family needs.
Because ethical ABA means recommending what’s needed for the client, ot for the owner’s bank account. 🎤 ⬇️ 😎
