In celebration of , Success On the Spectrum hosted its annual Autism Prom—a FREE event for children of all ages and abilities, created to celebrate inclusion, joy, and community.

This past weekend, Rakim, one of our Ohio Media Studies-Columbus Campus students, put his , , and skills into action by capturing the event—creating meaningful visual content and telling powerful stories through his lens.

What began as a single opportunity quickly turned into professional growth. Rakim is now an approved vendor for future events and has been invited to conduct parent testimonial interviews—gaining real‑world experience, industry relationships, and momentum while still in school.

OMS Columbus Spotlight: Alumni Powering a Pro Media Team!
At Ohio Media School, nothing makes us prouder than seeing our graduate's step into the industry — and then open doors for the next generation. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on an incredible example of that leadership in action.

Arenthous Frazier, an OMS graduate, continues to make major moves in the world of sports media. As Director of Media for the Grove City Whitetails ABA Basketball Team — a semi-pro/minor league organization launching its inaugural season — Arenthous plays a key role in shaping the team’s media presence, audience engagement, and overall storytelling.

In addition to his role with the Whitetails, he serves as an Account Representative at WNKO/WHTH Radio, and his background in sports commentary and freelance sports writing showcases his ability to create dynamic, compelling content across platforms.

What makes this story even more powerful?
