I have dialysis this morning. My energy is low but I am hoping to feel better after. Ready for the weekend.

💚 Did you know? Children on dialysis often spend 10–12 hours each week connected to a machine that helps do the job their kidneys can no longer perform.

A kidney transplant can offer many children a healthier, more active life and reduce their dependence on dialysis. Organ donation truly has the power to change a child's future. đź’š

It has been a long hard journey so far, but I am staying positive that I will find a match. With Father's Day approaching, I am missing my grandpa who was a big supporter during my journey until he passed away January 20th. Things are not the same but I will continue to fight and make him proud.

đź’š A fact that changed the way we look at kidney disease: You can lose a significant amount of kidney function before symptoms ever appear which is why awareness matters so much.

Watching Roderick’s kidney journey has shown us that strength doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it looks like appointments, waiting, hope, courage, and showing up one day at a time.

Kidney disease affects millions of people, and every journey looks different. One thing we’ve learned is to celebrate the good days, lean on support during the hard days, and never underestimate the power of resilience.

Please continue to keep Roderick and all families walking this journey in your thoughts. 💚🩺✨

Roderick’s kidney journey has shown us just how precious life, health, and second chances truly are. 💚

There are so many people waiting every single day for a donor including Roderick. Waiting for hope, for healing, and for more time with the people they love. Becoming an organ donor can literally save lives and change entire families forever.

A kidney donor doesn’t just give an organ… they give birthdays, graduations, memories, laughter, and more moments that otherwise may not have been possible.

If you’ve ever considered becoming a donor, take the time to learn about it. One selfless decision can create a lifetime of impact. Please keep Roderick and everyone fighting kidney disease in your prayers. 🙏💚

Dialysis this morning. I have to do it every Monday and Friday morning at 6am. It is hard but I am staying positive. I am hoping to find a match soon!

As many of you know, our family has been navigating the challenges of kidney failure, and Roderick being on the transplant list is an important step forward, but it’s also a reminder of how many children are in similar situations as Roderick, waiting for a chance at a healthier future.

Kidney transplants are often the best option for kids with renal failure, offering them the chance to grow and thrive. However, the wait can be long, and the need for organ donors is significant.

If you’ve ever considered organ donation or want to learn more about it, I encourage you to look into it. It’s a gift that truly changes lives. There is a pinned link at the top of the page to Tampa General Transplant Hospital for more information.

Thank you all for your support, love, and prayers as we continue on this journey with Roderick.

I had dialysis yesterday, the day after my birthday on Thursday. I still had a nice birthday and got a few gifts, so that made me happy. đź’™

Dialysis is kinda hard sometimes, but I’m staying strong. I really can’t wait until I get a match so I don’t have to do this anymore.

Just taking it one day at a time. Thanks to everyone who checks on me and cares about me. It means a lot. 🙏
