My daughter had a special reading milestone she reached in school last week, so the reward was getting to bring a stuffed animal to school for the day. She couldn’t decide between her two favorites, so I said I would take one to work with me today and she would take the other to school. She told me to not forget the dog toy in the car all day. So here’s proof that it came into work with me. 😅

I have 2 hens fighting over a clutch of eggs that are due to hatch this weekend. I’ve tried separating them but they both insist on this particular nesting box.

Was doing some gardening this evening and came across this little guy! Is anyone familiar with turtles and know what kind this might be? We are in Van Alstyne- North Texas and this is the first turtle or tortoise I’ve come across in the wild out here.
