Creative Writing Workshops 2026 [UPDATED DECEMBER 12] 12/31/2025

My writing workshops begin next week. I have openings in my weekly poetry and memoir workshops, as well as my drop-in poetry workshops in person and online.

For the first time in some time, I can accept one or two more writers for my Tuesday afternoon Zoom memoir group as well as my Tuesday in-person memoir workshop at Niche Wine Bar. If you're free on Monday mornings, I also have open seats in my poetry workshop at Multnomah Arts Center.

Please have a look at the Creative Writing Workshops page of the Printed Matter Vancouver website and let me know if you have any questions:

I would also greatly appreciate it if you forward this email or share the link above with your friends and contacts who would benefit from writing in a friendly, safe, supportive small group environment.

I look forward to writing with you in the new year!

According to Brittany Mishra, a current participant in my weekly Zoom poetry writing workshop, “I’ve attended many poetry workshops, but The Work stands out for its creative constraints and consistent inspiration. Chris’s passion and his workshop materials create a safe space to be vulnerable, take risks, explore new ideas, and find joy in the writing process.”
