When you sold your last car… did you file a Report of Sale?

Here’s something a LOT of people don’t realize 👇

Yes the buyer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their name.
BUT the seller is responsible for filing a Report of Sale.

If you don’t file it, that vehicle can still come back on YOU.

✔️ You need the buyer’s FULL name and FULL address
✔️ It releases you from liability if the vehicle is impounded or gets traffic camera tickets
✔️ You have 5 days to file it in WA
✔️ Can be done online or in person at the DOL
✔️ Important to keep a record for yourself once filed

It’s a common mistake- avoid the headache later.
